The result is a pixelated image with less detail. But if I open a "jpg" or "png" file, I get a weird upscaled pixelated version of Windows Photo Viewer, as if it was rendered at half the size and then each pixel of the window was duplicated in width and height. The strange problem that I am having is that when I open a "tif" file, I get Windows Photo Viewer and the image itself displayed in high res. On Windows 10, under "Customize your display", I have "Size of text, apps, other items" set to 200% as I have a high pixel density display (kind of Retina type display). I have all my image file types (jpg, tif, png) associated with Windows Photo Viewer instead of the "Photos" app (the reason being the Photos app is not color managed).
